This Tiling Course is to teach the average homeowner how to install ceramic floor tile.
I have tried my best to comply with the "Ceramic Tile Association Of America's" guide lines.
Although some of my Tile Laying skills may seem a little old school.
I stay informed on the latest tile installing how to information by schooling myself on a constant basses.
Thank You:

Q,
I recently purchased your info. I have a couple of questions (maybe more in a couple of weeks.
I am remodeling my kitchen top to bottom. Hickory cabinets with granite countertops. My kitchen is 10'x10' with 2 walls getting 2'deep cabinets (L shape). That leave me with approx. 8'x8' floor area.
I am attempting to install porcelain tiles for the first time. It is Mannington donatello with a Listello inlay. I'm going to make a 5'x5' square inlay with Oyster inside the inlay and walnut on the outside.
1. Should I lay the floor under the new cabinets? I am planning on it in case we need to remove a cabinet for a dishwasher.
2. There are arrows on the bottom of the tile. Should I lay these in the same direction?
3. Do you recommend wet sawing these tiles for straight cuts or use the cutting board? (I watched your video and you did use a wet saw)
4.I planned on starting in the center of the 8'x8' area. Does this seem feasable or do you have any other suggestions on where I should start?
5. I am thinking of making the center inlay diagnal to the outer tiles. Is this difficult? Should I keep them all square to each other?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
