Tools Needed For Installing Ceramic Tile , There Uses, There cost and Importance rating.
Before Buying A Lot Of Tools For Installing Ceramic Tile You Don't Need.
Take The Time To Look At A Ceramic Tile Setters Tool List.
Ceramic tile is long lasting and material for increasing the value of your home. Easily maintained, it may be just the look you want for your bathroom or kitchen. Installation requires preparation and some a little Education or Training.

I have put together a list of the tools you will need for laying ceramic tile. Be sure to look at these  tools and materials list and have everything on hand before you start  Laying your ceramic tile. If your project involves laying ceramic tile on both walls and floors, do the walls first.

It doesn't matter if you have chosen ceramic tile, marble or granite tiles. After you have finished measurning and purchasing the ceramic tile, and setting materials.
The Ceramic Tile Grout Float,
It Has A Pure gum rubber face is bonded to the dense rubber pad, and then cemented to an aluminum backing plate or wood ,with a smooth handle or plastic.
Edges are beveled and the two front corners are rounded for ease of spreading
Dense rubber pad is designed specifically for tile grouting.
Also available with an offset handle for base/cove work.

Used to wipe off excess grout from tile joints
The rounded corners to prevent digging out joints,

Notched Trowel,
Used to spread adhesive thinset or mastic on the base surface before laying tile, carpet, or other floor coverings
Notch style and size help to control depth and amount of adhesive applied
Notch size  size needed will vary depending on the tile you are installing, a 3/16 notch may be good for installing 2x2 or 1x1 tiles but the 12x12 tiles will require at least 1/4 inch notch.
Margin Trowel,
Forged from a single piece of tool steel for strength Tempered, ground, and polished from toe to heel
Hardwood and plastic handles with metal ferrule.
This tool is used for mixing thinset and grout and cutting back the grout,

Ceramic Tile Cutter,
This cutter can be used to make straight cuts and 45% angle cuts on some tiles.
These cutters can cost as little as $15.00 and as much as $300.00 dollars.
They use a man made diamond wheel much like a glass cutter.
This wheel can be replaced and so can other parts as they ware.
Ceramic Tile Nippers "bitters"
Plastic grip Handles stops to protect the carbide tips, Center spring returns jaws to open position.
If you can learn to use the nippers to cut ceramic tile you will find that you can do a lot with the nippers that you normally would need a wet saw for.
However the tile nippers are not a must have there are ways around using them, such as the wet saw.
The larger more expansive tile nippers are used more often on the thicker tiles.
Carpenter's Square, or "tri square"
You can get the tri square in plastic or metal,
This is used to help marking cuts it will make your job easer and faster with less mistakes.

Extra thick aluminum or wood, hardened ribbed walls for increased strength
most levels have a five year warranty against leakage, have scratch resistant covers, and can be replaced if necessary
Some have shock absorbing end caps and a smooth, powder coated, baked finish.
A Level Is A Must Have For Installing Wall Tile
However You May Not Even Use A Level For Installing Ceramic Floor Tile.
Levels come in lots of sizes.
A tile setter should have at least a 2ft and a  4ft.
Most tile setters also have a 6ft and a 2 & 1/2ft
Chalk Line
Available in aluminum or plastic,
Easy to fill by simply sliding the nylon cover open
Self-locking handle and plated anchor ring
Cotton line is highly absorbent for positive marking and is replaceable
Can also be used as a plumb bob

Start early protecting your knees,  Knee Pads could save you from a lot of pain even surgeries.

Chisels are not guaranteed due to possible abuse
